Credit Builders Alliance (CBA) is selecting a group of ten affordable housing providers to receive a $15,000 grant each, individualized technical assistance, credit training, and inclusion in a peer group of agencies implementing rent reporting. Over nine months, this cohort will work to implement rent reporting programs at their organization / company. In September 2025, a culminating event will take place in NYC convening Wells Fargo leaders, CBA, participating housing providers and renters, local lawmakers, and NYC mayoral agency leaders to present and discuss program impact, success stories, lessons learned, challenges, and future scaling opportunities.
We are seeking affordable housing providers that:
- Own and/or operate affordable housing
- Have the staff capacity to implement
- Have properties located in the state of New York
- Are motivated to take action to make rent reporting a reality for their residents within the grant period
- Are committed to investing in rent reporting as a long-term strategy
- Are interested in building staff knowledge on credit issues
If your organization/company meets the above criteria, please continue filling out the application below. You can reach out to

initiative is made possible with the generous support of Wells Fargo.
